Scrappy Dappy Doo….
Another week kicks off with more manifesto publications - this time its Reform UK - the private company owned by its leader. Here is my summary of their stated aims to drug and alcohol policies, justice and other things that caught my eye
Cynicism, men and democratic deficits….
Most political parties have now published their manifesto's - in various formats and with a broad range of policy priorities. Some more progressive and radical than others - usually infleunced in part at least by level of expectation of actually 'winning'. The furthest 'right' private company / party is yet to publish their manifesto yet
Manifesto blogs – bumper edition
Both Labour and Plaid Cymru published their manifesto's today. Here is my summary of their stated approaches to drugs, alcohol, public health and other things that may have caught my eye. And they’re off….
The election has been called, we now (temporarily) have no MP's as the campaigns have started with varying degrees of ineptness and chaos. But at least we know it'll pass and there will be a new Government in July - with a mandate and a programme of work that has been courted publicly. The last
Writing a long-overdue wrong (see what i did there….)
One of my most enjoyable engagements since entering the self-employed world of consultancy almost 4 years ago (yikes) was with the Hepatitis C Trust - working on some stakeholder engagement, strategic planning and communication messaging. Having spent most of my career in the drug treatment sector where organisations constantly (and unnecessarily) tied themselves in knots
Normalising the absurd….
Almost completed my first week of not being a Vespa owner
